Use of Emerging Technologies to Preserve Digitally and Upgrade Pakistan’s Cultural Heritage
Pakistan, a land cradled by the Indus River and marked by millennia of civilization, from the ancient ruins of Mohenjo-Daro and Harappa to the intricate artistry of the Mughal era, holds one of the world's most multifaceted and significant cultural heritages. Taxila—one of South Asia’s most significant archaeological landscapes and a UNESCO World Heritage Site—stands as a testament to Pakistan’s rich civilizational legacy.
ContinueDeep Learning Based Beam Allocation in Switched-Beam Multiuser Massive MIMO Systems
This research proposes a beam allocation problem for massive MIMO systems using Deep Neural Networks (DNN). A supervised Machine Learning algorithm is used for Beam-Selection and Switching (BSS), achieving high communication performance. The model predicts optimal beams using multiclass classification with an accuracy ranging from 91.6% to 97.7%, while significantly reducing runtime complexity compared to brute-force methods.
PublicationIntegration of IoT and Smart Grid to Reduce Line Losses
The increasing electricity demand in Pakistan highlights the need to modernize power transmission systems. Integration of IoT with Smart Grids enables two-way communication between utilities and consumers, ensuring power is supplied only when required. This intelligent approach reduces permanent transmission and distribution losses, improving overall system efficiency.
